The Meyer automated warehouse stands 11 stories tall and is nearing completion. It will accommodate 66,000 pallets of kitchenware via 12 Daifuku storage retrieval machines (SRM). "The equivalent number of pallets in a flat traditional warehouse would have taken up 750,000 square feet," explains spokeswoman Cathleen Mandigo. The project included 80 percent recycled steel in the racking.
