The DUOSYS is Daifuku's newest Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS) product. It is configured as a high-throughput mini load that effectively sorts and groups totes or cases. Unlike a standard mini load, DUOSYS features two Storage Retrieval Machines (SRM) functioning in the same aisle. The SRMs work side by side and move past each other without interference to perform storage and retrieval operations.

Jervis B. Webb Company ("Webb"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daifuku Co., Ltd. of Japan, marks the end of an era with the retirement of Susan M. Webb, its President and co-CEO. She will be succeeded as President and co-CEO by Ryuichi Kitaguchi, who will also continue as President of Daifuku America Corporation.

July 18, 2008 - Daifuku Will Exhibit at Assembly Technology Expo 2008
Daifuku will introduce its automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) to manufacturers at this year’s Assembly Technology Expo . Many of Daifuku’s global customers use AS/RS in their manufacturing and distribution facilities to store work-in-process and finished goods. AS/RS is also effective for long-term storage of raw materials and spare parts.
