Salt Lake City – In conjunction with commemorating 70 years in the material handling industry, Daifuku announces the re-launch of its corporate portal
www.daifuku.com, providing an easy-to-use information resource for customers, prospective customers, media, investors, and employees.
The corporate portal, a comprehensive view into the world of Daifuku and the history of the global material handling industry, details Daifuku’s offerings that are used by the automotive, electronics, manufacturing & distribution and cleanroom industries worldwide.
Containing information in both English and Japanese, the portal highlights the company’s beginnings as a manufacturer of forge rolling machinery for ironworks and construction in the 1930s and shows the company’s evolution into one of world's top material handling manufacturers and system integrators.
The website also links to a newly redesigned site for the Hini Arata Kan expo center. Site visitors discover the multitude of material handling products operating at the three-story facility in Shiga, Japan on Daifuku’s main manufacturing campus. Hini Arata Kan is the only demonstration center of its kind with operational AS/RS Unit Load, AS/RS Mini Load, Automobile Assembly Line, Picking & Sorting Systems, Storage Systems and Material Handling Tools.
